I've just noticed that some of the advertising carried on this blog is for braindump sites. Bah.

What next?

I'll have to follow the advice of industry professionals and take it real easy for a while. There's a big barrel of beer with my name on it. :=)

MCSE at last!

Passed 70-293 this morning (barely). It was horrible. What a crappy test!
At least the test didn't crash on me - which made a nice change.

The "have a stab at answering the questions, then read the case scenario, then go back to the questions" tactic worked well.

Nearly fluffed it towards the end of the first testlet. Amazingly I has one minute left spare. So I waited for 30 secs or so (assuming that the exam would automatically roll me onto the next testlet). Eek! Sudden realisation that I better initiate the next testlet myself.

So that's it for the MCSE 2003. Roll on EURO 2004.

So my strategy tomorrow is to:

1. Answer/guess the questions


2. Go back and read the case study


3. Sketch a diagram


4. Change answers (if necessary)


5. Hope it's my lucky day

Also, I'll have to hope that the test doesn't crash that much. I'll give myself a 50/50 chance of getting this one.
